About
The LAT is a computer-based test that allows candidates to demonstrate their aptitude and skills for studying Law at UNSW. LAT results will be considered in addition to the ATAR (or equivalent academic result) in the UNSW selection process to differentiate amongst the many high achieving Law applicants. Completion of the LAT will enable UNSW to gain a more rounded view of a candidate’s capability to study Law; it will also give applicants the opportunity to demonstrate further their suitability for the Law program at UNSW.
The duration of the LAT is 2 hours, including 10 minutes of reading and planning time per writing task.
Candidates may sit the test in person at a Sydney test centre or online by Remote Proctoring. Additional test centres will not be established. Test Centre places are limited, so register early.
