Test Centres
The exact test venue details will be released approximately 2 weeks prior to the test date and will be stated on your Admission Ticket. This is for test security purposes.
You must report to the test centre at the time stated on your Admission Ticket; it is not necessary to arrive before that time. The test itself will start as soon as all pre-testing procedures are completed. If you report to the centre after all candidates have been admitted to the testing room you may not be admitted.
No latecomers will be admitted once the test has started. When making transport arrangements you should allow at least four hours from the arrival time stated on your Admission Ticket to the end of the test, as candidates are not allowed to leave the test centre before the test has finished.
You are advised to have a light meal before reporting to the test centre. No food is permitted in the test centre, unless prior permission has been granted by the LAT Office based on medical reasons, e.g. if you suffer from diabetes.
Predicting the exact temperature in each test centre is difficult, you should consider dressing in layers so that you can be comfortable, no matter what the room conditions are.
COVID-19 Safe procedures at test centres
Please note:
- Test centres will operate with strict adherence to current public health orders. Please note that registration and waiting times may be slightly longer than usual due to additional procedures that have been put in place. Please follow the instructions of test centre staff and test supervisors at all times. Failure to do so will be considered as misconduct.
- Advice regarding what you should do and expect at the test centres will be provided in the reminder email to be sent before the test date.
- Please note that test centre sessions may have to be cancelled at short notice in compliance with COVID-19 restrictions. In such an event, ACER will contact and offer affected candidates a full refund or the opportunity to sit the test via remote proctoring where operationally feasible on the main test day.
